In Texas, only the front two windows and the windshield have tinting restrictions. The front windows must have a 25% VLT or lighter, while the windshield must allow at least a 70% VLT. There are no restrictions on the tint percentage for the rear windows.

How long should I wait to roll my windows down after tinting?

We recommend waiting at least 2 days before rolling your windows down after a fresh tint installation. This gives the adhesive time to fully cure — especially important in San Antonio's high humidity, which can slow the drying process slightly.
